At our Federation, we are committed to building a greener, cleaner and more responsible future for our children, our community, and our planet. Sustainability is not just an added extra for us — it is woven into everyday school life, guiding our decisions, shaping our curriculum, and inspiring the actions we take together.
We are proud to have a dedicated Sustainability Lead, a committed Sustainability Governor and we are currently establishing an Eco Club in each school, Our Sustainability Governor helps ensure that environmental responsibility remains a central priority at leadership level. Together, we are working towards the goals set out in our Climate Action Plan (CAP), which outlines the steps we are taking to reduce our environmental impact and to model positive change for our pupils.
Our journey is ongoing, and every member of our federation community plays a vital role — from pupils championing eco‑friendly practices, to staff embedding sustainable thinking into teaching and day‑to‑day routines, to families supporting our initiatives beyond the school gates.
We know there is much more to do, but we are moving forward with purpose, optimism and a shared belief that small actions, taken together, lead to big change. This page celebrates our progress so far and keeps our community up to date with the work ahead as we strive to become a more sustainable federation.
